MICHIANA'S BEST AND BRIGHTEST!
SELECTION CRITERIA:
• Reside or work in one of the following counties: Berrien and Cass (Michigan);
LaPorte, Marshall, and St. Joseph (Indiana)
• Have meaningful professional accomplishments.
• Positively affect others around them.
• Demonstrate leadership qualities in the workplace or community.
SELECTION PROCESS:
Working with the selection criteria, the Junior Achievement Board of Directors in coordination with industry professionals will rate each candidate based on the information provided on the nomination form and their attached resume.
NUMBER OF FINALISTS:
The selection committee will choose up to ten finalists from each industry (based on number of submissions). The President and Board of Directors of Junior Achievement of Michiana will monitor the selection process and break any ties.
NARROWING THE FIELD:
Once finalists are established for each of the industry categories, sub-committees of professionals in each industry will select the Best and Brightest individual in each industry. The Best and Brightest of Michiana will be announced at the celebration dinner event at the Century Center on April 29, 2008.
CONFIDENTIALITY:
All discussion that takes place during the selection process is confidential. Junior Achievement and its selection committee members will not reveal the names of any of the finalists until after the finalists have been notified or announced publicly.
